I have been through this healing journey myself, it's not easy. My husband and I have been together for over 40 years, married for 35. We also worked together. We separated and a month later he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. My heart sank!

Sometimes you just don't know where to turn, who to turn to. For me it was the Lord and a few close people that I could trust my heart with. I needed to constantly make sure my grown children had all the love and support they needed, every opportunity to be with their dad. I refused to allow any detrimental damage come from my end.

Sometimes you can't share with your "tribe" (all the people around you, or your family), sometimes you need someone that can listen, give sound advice, encouragement, and work together for next steps scenarios.
